World-famous, Hatch-grown red chile is cold-soaked in red wine,
allowing traditions of wine & chile to fuse into one. Alluring
pepper and smoke on the nose, this flavorful wine brings to life the
flavor of the Southwest with its unique New Mexican flair.

Pairs nicely with chocolate as the smoke, pepper and berry will be
further drawn out by the richness of the chocolate. Also goes very
well with rich, full-flavored cheeses.

Wow za! My hubby brought a bottle home on a whim. I was skeptical, no lie. In fact, it was weeks before I cracked the bottle open and I've been drinking it ever since. It has the perfect bite to it. It's a touch on the sweeter side compared to what I typically drink in a red, but so far so fantastic. So far, I've been able to find it in only one liquor store in Fort Collins.

WOW! I saw a few bottles on display in Des Moines, NM so I tried one purely because I am a chilihead convert.............I had to go back and get a case!! Great color, nose, and goes with everything in New Mexico cuisine...or just to relax.

We stopped at the winery on our way to Arizona last winter. Just had to sample this unusual sounding wine. Bought 2 bottles of it and the green chili. Opened the last bottle on Mothers Day wondering what the reception would be. The family enjoyed it with the prime rib that my husband did on the grill. I am ordering some more.

Have a party and someone brought the wine. OMG! Was wonderful! I was worried that it may be a little spicy and I wouldn't like it but I believe that it is now my favorite!

I'm from NM and recently tried this wine in Las Cruces. Even though I am a chile head and love red wine, I was skeptical that the wine would be palatable. It was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. Very defined chile flavor with just a touch of chile heat, yet still a very balanced red wine. BEST OF BOTH WORLDS. I'm sold (or buying as it were). I currently live in WA and will be ordering a case after this review. GIVE IT A TRY.

Great real red chile aroma and taste. I just had my first taste and I am thinking of all the ways to use it in cooking. Sangria maybe. It is just plain good to drink.
